Flex version 6.45.0.0 is out now
A new protocol to program ZF 8G Tronic VGS3-FDCT automatic transmissions (TCUs) installed on Mercedes vehicles has been released.
With this latest Flex update, it is now possible to connect the gearbox control unit in Bench mode and access both the maps area and the EEPROM memory for TCU reading and writing.
Some of the supported vehicles:
- Mercedes Classe A (W177) 180d 2.0L 116PS
- Mercedes Classe B (W247) 200d 2.0L 150PS
- Mercedes Classe CLA (C118) 35AMG 2.0L 306PS
- Mercedes Classe GLA (H247) 220d 2.0L 190PS
- Mercedes Classe GLB (X247) 250 2.0L 225PS (Hybrid)
This new protocol is available for the following software packages:

- FLS0.2M – SW Flex TCU OBD/Bench/Boot (car, bike, van) Master
- FLS0.2S – SW Flex TCU OBD/Bench/Boot (car, bike, van) Slave
- FLS0.5M – SW Flex Full Master
- FLS0.5S – SW Flex Full Slave
